Emotion & Cognition
In the Fujiwara lab, we study relationships between emotion and cognition in humans. We focus on pathological conditions that affect the central nervous system, but we also have ongoing studies in the general population. Our methods include cognitive and neuropsychological assessments, online and in-person surveys, eye movement analyses, and we love to play with our data using conventional and more advanced statistical techniques like machine learning. Ongoing work explores gender as one of many social determinants of health, and social-emotional cognition in HIV.
